How I met my wife:  My sister, Judy, introduced me to Nan on a Friday night when I returned from a Billy Graham Crusade.

 

Nobody knows that:  In 1980 I was in Springfield, MO with several youth for College Campus Days at Evangel University.  In a rush to attend the football game, I neglected to replace the hose from the gas pump.  I proceeded on, and pulled the entire pump from the island.

 

Education:  Bachelor of Science with Ministerial Major - Bethany Bible College, Santa Cruz, CA.

 

How I became a Christian:  My mother led me in "The Sinner's Prayer" when I was 7 years old.

 

How I came to be in this District:  I was asked to join the Pastoral Staff of First Assembly in February of 1995.

 

The best thing about being a Christian:  Experiencing forgiveness and relationships with others.

 

Favorite movie:  "Father of the Bride".

 

Favorite place:  Castle Pines Golf Club.

 

Favorite food:  Chinese: Spicy Cashew Chicken.

 

How I spend my days off:  Doing handyman projects around our home, golfing and reading.

 

My funniest experience:  While I was preaching my heel came off my right shoe, and I fell down the steps onto the tile floor.

 

Personal project I can't wait to finish:  Remodeling our downstairs at home.

 

My first job:  Part-time worker in an upholstery store.

 

My best childhood memory:  Getting a Daisy B.B. Gun for Christmas.

 

Most powerful book I've ever read (besides the Bible) and why:  "The Purpose Driven Life" - So many from our church were impacted by the message at the same time!

 

What I will ask Jesus when we meet:  What thoughts went through your mind when you were on the Cross?

 

My prized possessions:  Some discarded toys of Brianne and Brock Michael.

 

Spiritual gifts:  Teaching, Leadership, Encouragement.

 

A time when I felt very close to God:  Last Sunday while praying for people who had some great needs.

 

I would love to meet:  President Bush.

 

I would appreciate prayer for:  My family and all life-giving churches in Weld County.
